[He who was not voted in sucks]

I would like the perspective of someone who lived through the 1960s in the southern states when 'mixed marriages' started to happen, only because I am wondering if the reaction of the bigots was fairly the same as the reaction some people have to the idea of gay people being married. There is so much controversy, and I am wondering why, why is it such a big deal that two people who love one another want to be married, I hate bigots and that was the worst part of working with SF and CC, they were for the most part homophobic and it made me uncomfortable in the work place, further to that I was wondering who to tell and if my reaction would be recognized because I am not a homosexual and they weren't directedly discriminating against me. Finally I just said 'How would you feel if the law told you who you could and could not marry and who to love?' That kind of made them realize their reaction to that whole gay issue was abit extreme and unfounded but I hated the hell out of the use of the word 'fag' its so ignorant and dirty coming from an adults mouth. In other news, no job, I plan to spend the day taking photos with the digital camera outside, hooray me.
